Established in 2006 by Mark Joesbury and Richard Davies, Sofa Icon is proud to call South Wales home — a region with a long tradition of skilled furniture making. We specialise in creating high-quality upholstery for both retail and contract clients, combining craftsmanship with practical, lasting design.
Whether it’s a one-off piece or a bespoke project, our work is built to suit the needs of discerning homeowners, retailers, and interior designers alike. Each piece is carefully made to look beautiful, feel comfortable, and stand the test of time.
At Sofa Icon, we believe furniture should be more than just functional — every piece is designed to be enjoyed for years, becoming a part of your home’s story.
We have developed a core supplier base that provides top quality materials, components and services. All our hardwood is sourced from renewable forests with our top quality, solid beech frames guaranteed for life giving our beautiful furniture the ultimate lasting assurance. As part of our environmental commitment we aim to source and select materials from UK based suppliers and in particular from local companies near to our workshops in Glamorgan.
